I have been in possession of my father’s old SX-70 Polaroid camera for almost as long as I can remember. I thought it’s useful days were over went Polaroid went under, but happily the Impossible project has come to my rescue with a whole slew of new films to play with. Here is a random selection of images I have made with this camera over the years, often presented as composite grids of multiple images. Again, there are many more of these to be added, so please check back soon. I am only one person and this web stuff takes forever.

For almost as long as I can remember, I have photographed the signs that people put up when they are hoping to retrieve something they have lost.

For a couple of years, I took SX-70 Polaroid pictures of the hands of almost everyone I interacted with on any meaningful basis… as long as there was enough light.

I showed about 800 of them on a huge wall at Outrageous Look gallery in Brooklyn, which is sadly no longer around. Here are some of my favorites.
